Simple tomato spaghetti for today's lunch and I'm using this 3-tier My Melody bento boxes (one of my daughter's favourite lunchbox). Once again limited space for decoration so I just use quail eggs for simple characters! This is easy by adding the food pick onto the quail eggs to create animals ^_^ So guess what animals base on the top photo? Hehehe.....easy right? Blue pick for bunny and orange pick for bear :D

For side dishes have broccoli, prawns and grapes. Extra tomato sauce at the sauce container.

I hope you will like today's lunch and I can't wait to create my Christmas Theme bento next week onwards! Have a great day and thanks for reading :)

My 4th Christmas Theme Bento 🍀TOTORO X-MAS🍀 This will be my final bento for my kids bento because next week onwards they will have a 3 weeks school break (Woohoo....equal to my 3 weeks non bento break) And school will reopen next year 2015. Oh gosh.....time files so fast =_=" Anyway, I'll post one more Christmas Bento on next week! So stay tune!

Here's the close up Totoro and this round instead of mixing with black sesame powder with rice, I shaped the Totoro body first then only add the black sesame powder on top. I got the idea from talented Japanese mum Tomoni Maruo (Tomomi Omata). I love her amazing bento art creation and if you've twitter. I recommend to follow her at this LINK. She's awesomely talented!!!
Here's the side dishes close up. Makkuro kurosuke made of quail egg and cover with nori. Eye balls made of boiled egg white/nori. My mum gave me some of her planted sweet potato leaves so I stir-fried it and pan-fried fish fillet. Some Christmas pasta as decoration.

Hope you like today's Totoro X-mas Bento ^_^ Happy Thursday!

As forDomokun made from pan-fried potato with breadcrumbs. I shaped the mashed potato as Domokun before I start to pan-fried with breadcrumbs. I prefer less oil so I don't go for deep fried the potatoes :p After done, I just add crabstick for Domo mouth/hat and nori for eyes.
For side dishes have broccoli, eggsheet, chicken fillets and mayonnaise for extra flavours ^_^

I hope you like this Domokun Xmas Bento & early greetings from me Merry Christmas!

So let's see which of my favourite 14 bento below? Any one of them is your favourite too?

Happy New Year 2015! My kids school reopen next week but I will continue my bento break for another two weeks ^_^ Kids will take school set meals while I'm away :D I don't have to worried and can enjoy my vacation to Japan with my mother. Yappie that I can escape and enjoy the cold weather.

Today, I'm at home with my kids and prepare simple lunch. Just want to share with my readers that my blog will update after my two weeks trips. Hopefully, I will see your visit again ^_^ So what's for lunch? It's Hello Kitty for sure :D Dress up Hello Kitty wears headgear and enjoys the cold weather.

To make pink rice, I mixed with sakura denbu. All shaped done by using cling wrap. Freehand scissor cut out nori for eyes and silly me that I forgot to add Kitty-chan whiskers =_="

I'm back and kitchen is open when my kids told me they prefer my home cooked bento rather than school set meals ^_^ I thought they might tell me to stop prepare them bento after my return :D Well, been resting and enjoying my holidays so today still feeling sleepy Zz...zz...zz....making Hello Kitty kyaraben with cozy blanket inspired by talented Little Miss Bento eggsheet.

Here's the close up Hello Kitty ^_^ I arrange the pea sprouts then put Hello Kitty rice on top. This time instead of freehand scissor cut out the nori, I use cutter to cut out boiled seaweed/kombu. To let it stick onto the rice/egg, I add some mayonnaise. As for Hello Kitty blanket, separate the egg white and egg yolk. Make the egg yolk sheet first then I use Hello Kitty cookie cutter to cut out the shape and also cut out some star shapes. Filled up the holes by using syringe to pump out the egg whites. By using the syringe, I find it easier to filled up as well avoid spill out. Let it cook with low heat ^_^

For side dishes have chicken drumette with button mushrooms. Sauce at the sauce container and I cut out apple leaf design. To view the tutorial for the apple leaf can click HERE.

I hope you will like today's bento lunch. Have a nice day ahead to all of you and thank you for visiting my blog.

This is my first attempt to make Kumamon character ^_^ Visited Fukuoka Japan, noticed that Kumamon seems popular! From goodies to bento can easily buy Kumamon character but I just buy this rice mould set (view the box picture after the post).

Here's the close up Kumamon holds a heart made of crabstick. The Kumamon head, I use the rice mould to shape then wrap with nori. The seaweed cutter mould comes together in a box and face cutter as well. So basically very simple by just using all the bento kits! But the body, I shape it using cling wrap then wrap with nori. Lastly, add the arms. (I forgot one last step! The red cheeks =_=")

For side dishes have pagoda cauliflower, pandan chicken, yam samosa and some grapes.

Here's the picture of the Kumamon bento kits set. As I've mentioned that I missed out the red cheeks! Sigh......

Hope you like today's post but my daughter still not use to Kumamon new character :D She said who's this? Oh well, I need to make Kumamon often :p

Three more days toward the V-day! Here I make these lovely panda couple inspired by the panda figurines. The panda figurines are from my daughter's toy ^_^ I spend quite some times on shaping and sticking....luckily manage to finish on time before send my kids to school. No time to organize well for the side dishes so just put everything inside the small panda lunchbox =_="

Here's the close up Panda Couple :) Freehand scissor cut out nori details and shape the rice using cling wrap. Can't see the bouquet of flower details for the panda holding..... I should put the red part of crabstick bottom and put the white part on top so will stand out! Oh well....can't be done now =_=" Rose make of cherry tomato and add pea sprout surrounding.

Side dishes have pan-fried gyoza, quail eggs, cherry tomato and some grapes.

Back to school but kids still in their CNY moods :D I spend too much time on making the egg sheets (black/red/yellow) The black eggsheet didn't turn out well so I use nori ^_^ The side dishes just add on to cover up the holes and I'm totally run out time to do it better! Sigh! So quickly take few photo shot.

Here's the close up Little Girl playing sparkling stick that my kids like it! Suppose to make fire crackers (as per angpow picture) but no time to do. Sigh again...... Well, mix rice with tomato ketchup for the girl and the red/yellow part make from egg sheet (little bit of red food gel for red eggsheet) The flower on the girl is crabstick. Hair make from inari. Freehand scissor cut out nori for the face details. Toast the spaghetti for the stick.
